I love that there’s something very ritualistic about my bedside table. It’s not just clutter, it’s my little toolkit of products that genuinely help me switch off, relax, and (hopefully!) drift off into a good night’s sleep. From pillow sprays and masks to magnesium mists, here’s what’s currently sitting beside me as part of my nightly wind-down.

Peppersmith Xylitol English Peppermint Mints
I never go to bed without a little extra freshness, and these mints are my go to. Sugar-free, tooth-friendly, and made with xylitol, they keep my mouth feeling clean after brushing. I love the sharp burst of peppermint that feels refreshing without being sweet or artificial. It’s a tiny ritual but one that makes me feel ready for sleep with that “minty fresh” last step. Plus, the pocket packs are so easy to stash everywhere (and yes, you will also find a pack in the car and my handbag).

Boncharge Classic Blackout Sleep Mask
I didn’t realise how much difference total darkness makes until I started using this. The Boncharge mask feels soft and gentle on the skin but does the serious job of blocking every bit of light. For me, it’s a lifesaver on nights when the moon is too bright, or when I wake too early with dawn creeping in. The wide fit makes it really comfortable and it’s now a permanent fixture beside my pillow. Once it’s on, my brain knows it’s time to switch off.

This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray
This is the product I’ve used the longest, and I can honestly say it’s become one of those “I can’t go without it” items. A couple of spritz on my pillow or duvet and suddenly bedtime feels like a calm little ritual. The lavender, chamomile, and vetiver blend is soothing without being overpowering, and I find the act of spraying it almost as relaxing as the scent itself. I think half the magic is in the routine, it’s my signal to slow down, close my laptop, and actually prepare for rest.

Sarah Chapman Overnight Lip Concentrate
Dry lips at night are the worst, and this concentrate has completely changed that for me. It’s not just a balm, it feels richer, more like a treatment, with peptides and soothing ingredients that work while I sleep. I apply it as part of my evening skincare, and by morning my lips feel soft, hydrated, and actually plumper. It’s become one of those bedtime luxuries I genuinely look forward to, especially in winter when central heating makes everything parched but also is a real better ageing secret.

Sisley Velvet Sleeping Mask with Saffron Flowers
This one is pure indulgence. I don’t use it every night, it’s more for when I need an extra boost of hydration, but when I do, it feels like wrapping my skin in a cosy blanket. The creamy texture sinks in beautifully and leaves my skin soft and rested by morning. What I love most is that it feels restorative without being heavy or greasy. It’s one of those products that transforms my routine into a mini spa moment, right before bed and my skin looks amazing when I wake up.

BetterYou Magnesium Sleep Body Spray
Magnesium is something I swear by for both body and mind. This spray makes it so easy to incorporate, just a few sprays over my arms and legs before bed helps relax tired muscles ( also helps when your legs are feeling a little restless) and ease me into sleep. I like that it doesn’t feel sticky or heavy, and the lavender and chamomile scent adds to the overall wind-down vibe. It’s subtle but effective, and one of those products you don’t really appreciate until you stop using it.

IZIPIZI Sleeping Glasses
I recently added these glasses to my wind-down routine, and they’ve quickly stolen a spot on my bedside table. IZIPIZI’s sleeping glasses use their GoodNight® lenses to block artificial light, which can help your body signal it’s time to sleep. I slip them on for the last hour or two before bed when using my phone or laptop ( when I should be reading) and I swear I drift off more easily. They feel elegant, light, and worth the little investment when restful sleep is the goal.

OTO CBD Sleep Drops
When I need that extra push into dreamland, I reach for these. A few drops under the tongue and I feel calmer, less restless, and able to actually switch off racing thoughts ( something I am suffering a lot more with as I get older). The blend of CBD, lavender, and botanicals works quickly, and unlike other sleep aids, I never wake up groggy. I use them selectively, like when I have a big day tomorrow and can’t afford to toss and turn and they’ve never let me down. It’s my secret weapon for nights when nothing else quite cuts it.
