Coco Hotel is more than a place to stay; it’s a reflection of Copenhagen’s soul and offers a serene escape from the city’s hustle. Housed in a building dating back to 1880, the hotel exudes a timeless elegance, blending classic Parisian elements with Scandinavian minimalism. Nestled in the vibrant Vesterbro district, this boutique hotel exudes a quiet elegance that invites guests to unwind and feel at home. Owned by the Copenhagen Food Collective, Coco Hotel is the group’s first venture into hospitality. This family-run ethos permeates every aspect of the hotel, from the personalised service to the thoughtfully curated spaces.

The hotel’s interior design is a harmonious mix of vintage charm and contemporary style. Each of the 88 rooms is uniquely decorated, with five floors showcasing different color schemes, from vibrant blues and greens to soft greys and whites. The rooms are furnished with a curated selection of pieces, including Thonet Bentwood chairs, Prouvé chairs, and locally handmade wooden tables, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Coco Hotel is committed to sustainability, powered by energy from its own solar park in Jutland. The hotel is Green Key certified and plastic-free, with organic cotton linens and towels in every room, and the renovation process focused on energy and water-saving solutions, ensuring a minimal environmental footprint.

At the heart of the hotel lies Coco Café, a chic café and wine bar that serves as a gathering place for guests and locals alike. The café offers freshly brewed coffee, a Scandinavian take on the classic petit déjeuner, and a selection of light dishes. Make sure to order their matcha, and relish the delicious rye bread. In the evenings, it transforms into a lively bar, offering an extensive list of natural wines and cocktails. The ambiance is further enhanced by local DJs spinning records on weekends, creating a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere.

While Coco Hotel doesn’t have an in-house spa, it partners with some of Copenhagen’s finest wellness establishments to offer guests a comprehensive relaxation experience. Located next door, the boutique pilates and yoga studio, STUDIO 41, offers a range of classes designed to enhance strength and flexibility. Guests receive a 20% discount on sessions, which can be booked through the hotel. Moreover, AIRE Ancient Baths offers thermal experiences and treatments like rejuvenating massages in a restored factory setting. Guests can enjoy complimentary cava and chocolate from Peter Beier with a special promotion code available through the hotel.

Thus, whether you’re enjoying a quiet moment in the lush courtyard, savoring a coffee at Coco Café, or retreating to your uniquely styled room, Coco Hotel offers a peaceful haven in the heart of Copenhagen. It’s a place where the blend of vintage charm, modern comfort, and sustainable practices create an experience that lingers long after you’ve checked out.
